About the Darbaar

Dera Baba Murad Shah Ji — Nakodar, Punjab, India

A Sacred Abode of Peace

Dera Baba Murad Shah Ji is a revered spiritual institution located in Nakodar, Jalandhar District, Punjab, India. The darbaar was established in memory of Hazrat Baba Murad Shah Ji — a great spiritual master born in Nakodar whose life was dedicated to the worship of God and service to humanity.

The darbaar stands at the very spot where Baba Shere Shah Ji — Baba Murad Shah Ji's spiritual Guru — once lived his ascetic life. What was once a dense forest with a water pond has transformed into a magnificent spiritual sanctuary that welcomes lakhs of devotees year after year.
